Another rainy day in Singapore like it is today, in Sydney.
Found out about this cat cafe through a review on Youtube. I heard there was a cat cafe in Sydney, but wasn't too sure about its whereabouts. Thought it would be a good idea to go to a cat cafe while we were in Singapore. We didn't have an umbrella that day and was running under restaurant shelter by shelter to look for the cat cafe.
Managed to find it at Boat Quay structured narrowly between restaurants. Upon arrival, you are instructed to wash your hands and take off your shoes. Most cats were asleep and resting by 4pm so it was best to come during the mornings. It costs $12/ hour to play with the cats and extra $5 for the next hour after. It was definitely therapeutic and most cats would slowly creep besides you if you sit still. Luckily I managed to have a cat sit on my lap with the help of one of the friendly lady that works there. Kai Kai was purring so hard and he looked like he was enjoying life.
There wasn't many cats awake at this time. You are greeted with a menu of all the rules, such as flash photography not being allowed. Hot drinks can be taken in whilst playing with the cats inside the room.
Just like all other animals and humans, cats have their own set of personalities. It was nice to see different sets of individual cats in one room and be told of their different traits.
Much love J and C
