I am a person who falls for pretty looking things. I have seen instagrammers post the infamous fruit platter so many times on my feed. Colourful and appealing, just like the cafe itself. I have visited Bread and Circus before but only ordered coffee, but was not aware that instead it was Don Campos. Another cafe in front of Bread and Circus.
As we arrived we had a look at the lunch menu as we waited in the queue. Seeing that it was quite busy, I always like to browse through the menu and decide what I am planning to get just as we get seated. Most tables were shared and we chose to sit next to a window for optimal lighting. We were told that the servings were quite big, but I still wanted to add on the fruit platter just because…. you got to do it for the gram!
The dishes did not take much time to cook and we didn't wait too long. The salads were very tasty and refreshing. I believe it was the slaw (radish, carrot.) After finishing, we were commenting on how much we would love to take our mothers to eat at B&C, as they have a love for fruits and fresh produce. The only difference between mine and Justins meal was the leg lamb and biodynamic egg frittata. We both just wished we got more of the salad, because it was just so good.
Definitely would come back and try the breakfast menu.
