ICE CREAM SANDWICH SINGAPORE

We were on the hunt for these ice cream sandwiches for almost two days!! I was not going to give up hope because I promised myself, that I would get my hands on one of these babies before I leave. Having visited Singapore several times previously, I have never tried the ice cream sandwich due to very long lines and no luck coming across one.

Luckily on the second or third night of our stay whilst walking along Clarke Quay, we stumbled upon what looked like a push trolley around the corner of Jumbo (Seafood/ Crab Restaurant.) SUCCESS!!
Right before dinner, I strongly suggested that we should get our hands on one of these ice cream sandwiches before it disappears and I would never get a chance again. The first flavour purchased was corn on sweet soft bread for $1.50 SG dollars. My mother thought it was a bit unhygienic how uncle used the same hand to make the sandwich and collect money. But regardless of that fact, I was keen on trying.

Over the next couple of days, we came across a few other Ice Sandwich trolleys along Orchard Road. Cute old couple which I have recognised before, priced theirs at $1.20 SG dollars.

Verdict: I much prefer the wafer over the sandwich. The corn and honeydew flavour was so good. The honeydew tasted like Melona Korean Ice Cream. SO SO GOOD!
