CAFE SYDNEY

Where: 5th floor, Customs House, Alfred St, Circular Quay 

Took my girl Edwina out for her 21st Birthday at Cafe Sydney. Wagyu beef was a thinly sliced layer that just melts in your mouth. 



Carpaccio of wagyu beef, truffle dressing, caper, aioli, baby rocket   27 




Edwina and I both chose meat dishes that night, because red meat compliments with our red wines. 


Braised beef short rib, smoked onion, bacon, black eyed beans, lemon, chartreuse  39



Crisp Birkshire, pork belly, loin, morcilla sausage, cider dressing, roast apple  39 



Dessert drink for afters.

Warm Chocolate brioche pudding, poached cumquats, orange vanilla ice cream  19  

Could not decide amongst the other desserts, including the strawberry cheesecake but we decided that it had be dark and rich, so we opted for the chocolate pudding. 
The evening was like heaven!
