BROOKLYN BOY BAGELS

WHERE: Brooklyn Boy Bagels, 448 Bunnerong Road, Matraville NSW 2036
WEBSITE:  http://www.brooklynboy.com.au/

The first time I discovered Brookyln Boy Bagels, was when they opened a stall next to my uncles coffee cart at EQ Markets Moore Park. BBB operates at the markets every Wednesday and Saturdays. My friendly neighbour, who is a French guy starts setting up from around 7-7:30am morning, so make sure to swing by early not to miss out on a greater selection!

My friend told me that there were tasty bagels in Mattraville and to my surprise it was the same franchise. I have only tried the sweet bagels at the markets, but today was my first time trying their sandwich (spelt as "sammiches") and boy it did not disappoint.

Corned beef with mustard, gruyere, slaw and a dill pickle on NY Deli Rye $12.

I think the lady forgot the pickle, because I definitely did not taste any pickle in my sammich. Regardless, it was still extremely tasty when toasted, as the rye bread crust was super crunchy.

Cinnamon and raisin bagel $3.50

I also ordered a cinnamon and raisin for an afternoon snack. I love bagels whether it be savoury or sweet, as it brings back many memories of the blueberry bagels at uni.

Much love J and C.
