CULTURE BEAN CAFE KOGRAGH.

WHERE: 15 Gray Street, Kogragh.

Morning breakfast has never felt so good when eating healthy. Ordered the acai bowl which was refreshingly blended and beautifully presented. Usually I have this in a drink form and never with many other ingredients on top, but the sultanas really made a difference, along with the coconut flakes, granola and fruits. J ordered the Culture Bean Breakfast with eggs cooked your way.

This cute café was little hard to find, as it was hidden just on the corner of an intersection, however there is free parking in Kogragh mall which is just a short walk out.  Culture Bean was filled with other sweet treats, such as mountain full decorated cronuts and cakes. There is plenty of outdoor seating.

UNCLE TETSU

WHERE: 501 George Street Sydney.

Japanese cheesecake (Hokkaido), one of the most popular desserts Japan is known for.

I had the chance to try Uncle Tetsu's Cheesecake. As i was walking home the anticipation built up and i was wondering if it lives up to the immense hype.

A few friends told me to put it in the fridge as they believed it tastes better that way. I tried it when it was warm and as i prefer cakes as if it just came out of the oven.

Mum being quite a baker herself, said it wasn't cheesy enough and that they did not use enough egg yolk, just whites. The eggy taste was overpowering than the cheese. Feeling a little disappointed that the flavour was not strong enough. It was just missing something. The honey madeleines ($4.00) that was sold individually rated better in my humble opinion.

It may of been because this joint was making so many at a time that the workers had no quality control in the ingredients as it just did not hit the spot, after one or two slices. It was alright but not amazing, unfortunately.

Would I line up again, probably not. However I am excited to try this cake in Japan next year and hopefully this time it will make up for this one.

LEFT OF FIELD, RHODES

WHERE: Shop 3, 7 Gauthorp Street, Rhodes Sydney.

Very busy for a Saturday morning. Was given the option to sit outside but it was really windy that day, so did not mind waiting for a seat inside. The interior of LOF was very modern, full of light with high ceilings.

Great service at LOF. Waitress at LOF asked how we heard about this place and I instantly replied "instagram." Just came here for the hotcakes and coffee. The earl grey flavoured sauce was subtle and I wouldn't mind for more! It was enough to share for two as the portion is generous.

CHOPHOUSE STEAK HOUSE

Where: 25 Bligh Street, Sydney

Nothing beats a good steak and a good glass of wine on a Saturday night with close friends. Booking reservations were made by a friend who recommended Chophouse as a place for good steak as suggested by their colleague.

We ordered half a dozen oysters and Zuchinni flowers with prawn for entrees. The waiter recommended some red wine which accompanied each of our steaks.

The steaks were very juicy and delicious, however it was a little on the pricey side. Overall the food at Chophouse was quite good, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice.

BELFIELD BURGERS ON BOTANY

WHERE: Shop 1, 797 Botany Road, Rosebery, Sydney

Rate the pork burger and cheese burger. Ordered the pork burger, as the combination seems interesting but works really well, with the peanut butter pork patty and mayo. You can also really taste the slices of kim chi, which leaves the burger very juicy! This burger is highly recommended.

Beware when you bite into the mushrooms, as they are extremely hot.

The juice was Lovely Luisa (pineapple, orange and carrot juice) was refreshing.

Pork burger- beef patty, cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, mayo $10

Cheeseburger- peanut butter pork patty, kimchi, green apple, homemade mayo $12

Crinkle cut chips $5

Deep fried mushrooms $5
