KIT KAT SYDNEY.
Nestle has now made a come back with design your own Kit Kat pop up store located on level 2 of Westfields Sydney Pitt Street.
It takes up to 80 mins to be created but i waited around 2.5 hours. The customisation includes your own choice of three toppings and chocolate flavour, dark, milk or white. Including your own packaging name for $9 (8 sticks). There are pre made chocolate Kit Kats (4 sticks) for $4 and are just as good. I decided to create one for my partner, as it is only one per customer. The white choc with passionfruit and mango pieces and kiwifruit pavlova is a must, as part of their limited edition pack.
Kit Kat studio is here to stay until the 30th of August.

KILLINEY KOPITIAM SINGAPORE
WHERE: 67 Killiney Road Singapore 239525 Somerset
WEBSITE: http://www.yelp.com.sg/biz/killiney-kopitiam-singapore-4
and http://killiney-kopitiam.com/coprofile.html
Good morning,
I would love to share with you all the infamous Singaporean runny soft eggs with kaya toast. When visiting Singapore, Killiney Rd was on our doorstep right around the corner of Somerset MRT. Every morning the whole shop would be filled up, compared to the other business neighbours.
The menu is quite small but just right for something simple before taking on a bigger meal for lunch. My mum, Justin and I have visited this place two times already for breakfast and after dinner, which we called a "light meal."
The eggs are normally soft boiled and it is recommended that you add pepper and soy sauce for flavour combined with kaya toast. In this case we ordered french toast, which also came with a side of kaya. Not to mention the chee chong fun and other noodle dishes were good too. The laksa wasn't too bad either.
One late afternoon, we came back and the Nasi lemak was sold out. Best get in quick before it runs out. Most places close early due to this fact.
As I was researching I found out that Killiney Kopitiam also runs in Melbourne, unfortunately not in Sydney. I will have to just make do, creating this simple yet not so effortless meal at home or wait until my next travels.
Much love J and C

LOCAL EMBASSY ULTIMO
WHERE: 330/ 310 Wattle St Ultimo NSW 2007
My good friend told me about this cafe, after seeing numerous posts on Red Velvet pancakes on her Instagram feed.
During last week it was a half price deal on the pancakes from $15.50, from memory. We also ordered the Eggs Benedict. Would have preferred toast as a alternative to scones, as they reminded me of high tea.. filling and heavy. Every meal that came out was the Red Velvet pancakes, one after another.
The berry/ pistachio smoothie blend was the bomb. I would come back for this. Great choice.
Overall friendly service and satisfying.

CRANE BAR SYDNEY
WHERE: 32- 34 Bayswater Road, Potts Point
WEBSITE: http://cranebar.com.au/
My girlfriend introduced me to Crane Bar. Hopped in on a weekday evening. Asked the friendly waiter for the $50 deal that comes with cocktails and canapes. Edwina and I, ordered soft shell crab sushi and fish/ chicken tacos on top. It was delicious.
First to come out was the tea pot drink, which had a sweet lychee flavour. Each tasting was surprisingly good.
The tacos were to die for. Had a crunchy shell and nice tuna filling.
Awesome atmosphere and beautiful outdoor area with plenty of lounge. We got too comfortable and took many photos on each furniture, as you can see. The waiter was very welcoming and did not hesitate to take photos for us as well.
Would definitely come back and enjoyed ourselves way too much. This place is perfect for a big group of friends for a birthday party or for casual drinks. You would be amazed with the exterior too if you see this for yourself!
