In the US, burger shops are not hard to find. Being a tourist in the US we were unaware of what was good from bad, other than the typical cliche, In & Out franchises.
As we were walking through Las Vegas, we stumbled across an intriguing place, called Ketchup Premium.
The place was fairly empty, and we were greeted by kind staff and looked through the menu. It may be a hard choice for some as there are plenty of mouth watering options, catering for any burger loving soul.
Take a look at what we ordered!
Chicken Classic $11.10: Chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, avocado spread, honey mustard.
MAC ATTACK Burger: Angus
beef patty, fried macaroni and cheese patty, bacon, cheddar cheese, garlic
aioli. $12.03
Sweet potato fries $5.09
Western burger: Angus beef patty, grilled mushrooms, caramelised onion, swiss cheese, mayo. $12.03
Morning Glory Burger: Angus beef, bacon, fried egg, hash brown patty, cheddar cheese $12.03
In Australia, we are limited in our options of flavored soft drinks. This was simply a dream. Who just wants a boring standard sprite? YOU MUST TRY, PEACH SPRITE. ERMAHGAWD!
As if plain ketchup wasn't enough.. why not 2.....3...... or 8.
Not sure if it is a standard in America, but the buns had a sweet taste. Burgers, overall were a 7/10. But the crinkle cut sweet potato fries were definately worth getting.
Undoubtedly, there are plenty of better options than Ketchup Premium, but with all the added choices of drinks, and an everlasting supply of ketchup. It's definitely a winner in our books.
Tell us what you think, if you've been before. In the meantime, we'll dream about having peach sprite here in Australia..
Much Love
